Local Information VLTI-HOW 2022 Santiago, Chile

Logistics on site

Accomodation:
The workshop participants will be staying at the Hotel Diego de Velazquez in the comuna of Providencia.

For the participants arriving at the Santiago airport (Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport) and that have provided us with their arrival flight date and time, we will arrange a Transvip taxi to the Hotel Diego de Velazquez.

Commuting from the Hotel to ESO:
The participants will have breakfast served at the Hotel cafeteria. The vans will leave the hotel at 8:15 so we expect all the participants to gather a few minutes earlier at the hotel hall.
At the end of each day, the participants will have to return to the hotel by their own means, giving them some free time to enjoy after the sessions. However, if participants need a transport back to the hotel, they can notify the LOC during the afternoon coffee break (at the latest) and we will arrange a transport accordingly.

Meals during the conference:
Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria of the Hotel every morning.
Coffee breaks and lunches will be held in the tent installed in the garden in front of the Urania room. You can access it via the entrance door next to the IT office, or by the ESO cafeteria.
The participants are in charge of their dinner.
