The Adelina Seminar Series is launching! Designed to continue the legacy of the successful Hypatia Colloquium, this new series aims to provide a prestigious platform for early-career astronomers within the Chilean community to present their innovative research.
Led by a team of experts from ESO Chile and Chilean universities, the seminars promise an outstanding lineup of talks, fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas.

In this initial announcement, we encourage submission of abstracts from young-career astronomer to participate in this seminar series
- Talks: Duration and frequency of the talks are still to be defined. Please note that each session will be considered a dedicated seminar. This means you'll have the opportunity to delve deeply into your research area of focus into each topic.
- Participation: We strongly encourage you to attend in person, to fully engage with the community and make the most of this opportunity. To assist with your travel needs, funding is available upon request. If you're unable to join us on-site, don't worry—we also offer an online option.
- Registration: You can apply using the dedicated Registration Form.
Our selection committee—composed of Postdoctoral Fellows and Staff astronomers from ESO Chile together with professors from Chilean Universities —will ensure a high-quality series of research seminars. Building on the success of our previous online editions, we aim to make this event a prestigious platform for early-career astronomers to showcase their work. We hope this new edition will achieve the same recognition within the Chilean community as previous editions led by ESO Garching.
