Abell 119
Cluster of Galaxies at Z=0.0442. Field chosen for testing the IFUs. Photometry and Astrometry from M. Nonino (private communication) extracted form WFI images. The magnitudes in the FITS binary table are V magnitudes, integrated over a 2 arcsecond circle. The PSF was of 0.91 arcsecond. The galactic extinction towards the cluster is (from NED, based on Schlegel et al. COBE maps) A_B=0.168, A_V=0.129 Quoted mags have not been corrected for galactic extinction. They are in the Vega system.The original WFI images have been taken by 06/08/2000, within the ESO program 65.N-0461. Four 300 sec each images have been retrieved from the ESO archive and reduced with standard IRAF-mscred procedures. The final image has been created with a pipeline for WFI images.
