X-SHOOTER Science Verification

Eleven nights have been allocated to the XSHOOTER SV. These have been scheduled in the following 2 periods:

  • August 10 to 15 2009 (SV1)
  • September 26 to 29 2009 (SV2)

Approved Programs

A total of 43 proposals have been allocated SV time. The observations are being performed in "service mode style" by a dedicated team and the collected data are made available to the whole user community. See VLT Science Verification Policy and Procedures for more details.

WARNING: all (raw) data and calibrations are becoming public shortly after observations.
There is no proprietary period nor earlier data release to the PIs.
