| Probing the circumgalactic medium of galaxies close to the line-of-sight of lensed quasars |

| Deep, archival MUSE data of the field of multiply imaged quasars offer a rare opportunity for studying the spatial distribution of gas associated with galaxies close to their line-of-sight. In this presentation, we show a systematic comparison of their redshifts with those of the absorption systems in the spectra of the quasar images. |
