Unraveling the Cosmic Tapestry: Investigating the Interplay between Age, Metallicity, and Kinematics

The chemical abundances of stellar populations in galaxies contain valuable information about their assembly histories, as well as the processes that regulate star formation history and the mixing of chemical elements. Specifically, the chemical characteristics of stellar populations in the disc, bulge, and stellar haloes reflect their coevolution. In this presentation, I will share the results of a comprehensive analysis of the chemical abundances of stellar populations in the spheroid, thin disc, and thick disc of simulated galaxies selected from the CIELO project (Tissera et al., in preparation). This project was conducted using our customized version of P-GADGET3, incorporating the chemical and feedback model developed by Mosconi et al. (2001) and Scannapieco et al. (2009). We will explore the relationship between age, kinematics, and chemical abundances of stars, in relation to their formation histories.
