The quest for PopIII signatures at the edge of Reionization with the XQR-30 survey
The XQR-30 survey is based on an ESO Large Programme of ~250 hours that observed with X-shooter@VLT 30 quasars at 5.8 < z < 6.6 to obtain a homogeneous sample of high-quality spectra for the study of the second half of the reionization epoch.
In this talk, I will present the results of the analysis of 28 new low ionization absorption systems identified by the detection of neutral oxygen, as possible tracers of the interstellar medium of z~6 galaxies. Relative chemical abundances have been computed and compared with those of lower redshift analogues and with models of chemical enrichment from PopIII and PopII stars, to investigate the presence of gas enriched by the first stars.
