According to Lambda-CDM models, our Galaxy was formed by hierarchical merging, where monolithic collapse also had significant impact during early evolution. But there are still many unsolved questions, e.g., the missing satellites, how the stars are formed in our Galaxy, and how star clusters evolve relates to their host galaxies, and etc. Chemo-dynamics of resolved stars in our Galaxy provide the highest spatial resolution to trace Galactic evolution. In this talk, I will present recent effects of our research group in deciphering the Galaxy-star cluster coevolution, including 1) the chemical evolution of Sculptor dwarf galaxy; 2) undulations in the Galactic disk, caused by Sgr accretion event; 3) the evolution of Sgr star clusters; 4) escaped stars from star clusters. In the end, I will review pressing questions to be answered in the field of Galaxy-star cluster coevolution. |
