ESO has made a special arrangement with Hotel Director, in Vitacura, Santiago. Located at only a few blocks from ESO, Hotel Director will have a special rate for the participants at our conference.

In order to reserve your accommodation, please contact the hotel via e-mail at reservas@director.cl (Attn: Ms. Sandra Rojas), cc. mgomez@eso.org  BEFORE MARCH 21, 2014. After that date the pre-reservation at the special ESO rate expires and availability of rooms will not be guaranteed. The booking code (codigo de reserva) is 1400331-HAEBE2014.

A credit card is needed to guarantee the reservation, although it will not be charged. 

The hotel only accepts payment in USD and CLP. Those persons who pay in Chilean pesos will be charged the price of the room plus the 19% VAT. You are exempt of this charge if you pay with US dollars, travellers' cheque, or credit card (US$). This means that passengers paying in US$ can request exportation invoice (factura de exportación). In this way, they do not pay the VAT (IVA).

Daily rates include breakfast.
