Medium Resolution X-shooter Reference Spectra

Model atmosphere spectra of six spectrophotometric standard stars observable from the southern hemisphere were selected as reference spectra using X-shooter observations. They are hot white dwarfs (WD) or subdwarfs (sdO) with independent flux information. The flux distribution over the full X-shooter range 3000 – 25000Å is tabulated. The selection and empirical correction of the model spectra are fully described in Moehler et al. (2014a) and in a Messenger article (Moehler et al. (2014b)). The fluxes are sampled (at 0.1Å [< 1000Å] and 0.2Å [>10000Å]). The flux tabluations (ergs cm-2 s-1 Å-1) were converted to ABMAG [ABMAG = -2.5 Log10 Fν - 48.59 where Fν is in ergs cm-2 s-1 Hz-1].

Notes
LTT 3218, EG 274, LTT 7987 and Feige 110 are standard stars from the list of Hamuy et al.; GD 71 and GD 153 are WD primary standards.
