Zenodo
In order to preserve a record of our meeting and instead of compiling conference proceedings] we would like to make presentation slides and posters available through Zenodo, a CERN-developed platform for permanent storage of digital content.
The main advantages of Zenodo are that the content will be
- citable: Zenodo will assign DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) to all submissions
- discoverable: the ESO Library will notify ADS about the conference “collection”, and they will harvest the metadata
- archived: Zenodo will preserve the material permanently
PDFs of all talks and posters will be uploaded by the Library to Zenodo under a Creative Commons Attribution Licence (CC-BY) which allows re-distribution and re-use of a licensed work on the condition that the creator is appropriately credited.
If you do not want us to do this (or if you want to upload a different version from what you present during the conference), please let us know as soon as possible! Once a presentation is uploaded to Zenodo it will be indexed in the ADS (Astrophysics Data System) and is intended to be available permanently, so only final versions which are suitable for public distribution should be uploaded.
