Fulldome time-lapse of the William Herschel Telescope

The CANARY laser guide star, mounted on the William Herschel Telescope at the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos, La Palma, is seen in operation in this fulldome timelapse video.

Producing an artificial star in the atmosphere, CANARY is used to correct for the atmospheric distortion of light.
