Upside down
This interesting panorama image was not taken in the traditional horizontal way, but vertically. This way it seems like the small Auxiliary Telescope is looking down on its larger brother — one of the four Unit Telescopes of the VLT. In between them the Milky Way and a laser, fired by the Unit Telescope, are visible.
