Clouds over Cerro Paranal
Wispy white clouds streak overhead ESO's Paranal Observatory in this spectacular shot from the Atacama Desert in northern Chile.
The road to the Paranal Observatory, located at 2600 metres above sea level, can be seen etched into the the Cerro Paranal mountain.
