Old friends at La Silla

This reflective image features the ESO 1-metre Schmidt telescope, which is remotely controlled by Yale's Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics to search for Pluto-sized dwarf planets and supernovae, and the Differential Motion Monitor (DIMM), which measures seeing conditions.
