Aerial view of the Paranal Observatory. At the mountain top are seen the large enclosures for the four VLT Unit Telescopes, the (partly subterranean) building of the Interferometric Building (at centre), as well as the foundations for the smaller, moveable telescopes of the VLT Interferometric Array.
