Archway over La Silla
The slumbering decommissioned Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope (SEST) takes a moment to reflect on the cosmos above it. The familiar glow of the Milky Way arches over ESO's La Silla Observatory, located in northern Chile, as ESO's 3.6-metre telescope sits atop a peak in the background.
