SEST and Andromeda
The star studded night sky above ESO's La Silla Observatory is seen reflected in the imposing 15-metre dish of the decommissioned Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope (SEST). To the right, above the dome of ESO's 3.6-metre telescope, the Andromeda Galaxy peeks out.
