See inside the VLT
A view inside one of the 8.2m Unit Telecopes at the Very Large Telescope array (VLT). The VLT consists of four Unit Telescopes and four Auxiliary Telescopes, which work together to form a giant interferometer, allowing astronomers to see details up to 25 times finer than with the individual telescopes.
