The Active Phasing Experiment for the ELT
A 360 degree panorama view of the Active Phasing Experiment (APE), at ESO’s Headquarters in Garching. APE is designed to test technologies for accurate alignment of the segmented mirror of the forthcoming Extremely Large Telescope (ELT), by testing them on the existing Very Large Telescope (VLT).
