Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope
The Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope (SEST) was built in 1987 on behalf of the Swedish Natural Science Research Council (NFR) and ESO. Although decomissioned in 2003, it still stands tall at ESO's La Silla Observatory in the Chilean Atacama Desert.
