My favourite wings
ESO's Fulldome Expedition team has travelled to Chile to take some spectacular images for use in planetarium shows. Just before landing, the desolate beauty of the Chilean desert seems almost as magical as the skies above will after dark. ESO Paranal observatory and dome of VISTA telescope appear in the bottom part of the view.
