Japanese ALMA antennas at the OSF

Aerial view of the Japanese antenna integration site, where five 7-metre antennas are being tested before being handed over to the ALMA observatory. The picture was taken on 24 March 2011. Behind the Japanese site, on the right is the European antenna integration site, while in the centre is the main ALMA Operations Support Facility (OSF) building. The ALMA OSF is located at 2900 metre of altitude, near San Pedro de Atacama, in the II Region of Chile.
