Auxiliary Telescope against a setting Sun
Here one of the Auxiliary Telescopes of the Very large Telescope (VLT) can be seen against a setting sun. This is one of four of its kind, each with a diameter of 1.8-metres they feed light to the VLT Interferometer at ESO's Paranal Observatory.
