The ESO Supernove Planetarium & Visitor Centre is designed to mimic a close double-star system approaching a supernova. This world-class astronomy education centre personifies this situation, in which one star is pulling mass from the other until it explodes. In that moment that one star can outshine entire galaxies of 100s of billions of stars. ESO Supernova intends to, similarly, spark bright passion for astronomy in visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
