ALMA in green
A number of the 66 antennae that composes the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) are illuminated by an eerie green light. The ALMA antennae work together to observe molecular dust and gas —the building blocks of stars, planetary systems, galaxies, and life itself.
