Preparations for the Extremely Large Telescope
Work is in progress at the ELT Technical Facility (ETF) at ESO's Paranal Observatory. This facility will serve as a site for the integration and verification of components of the Extremely Large Telescope, which, when completed, will be the the largest optical telescope in the world: the world's biggest eye on the sky.
