Peaks around the ALMA OSF

The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) Operations Support Facility (OSF) tests and maintains the giant antennas that comprise ALMA, as well as remotely operating the telescope from a safe altitude — 2 of these are visible behind the main building. The dry, rust-tinted landscape in which the OSF is located is detailed in this panorama which also reveals the numerous peaks that encompass the facility.
