Paranal's shadow
Cerro Paranal, home to ESO's Very Large Telescope (VLT), casts a triangular shadow, seen here against the golden sunset sky. The VLT comprises four 8.2 m Unit Telescopes and four 1.8 m Auxiliary Telescopes, with AT2 being shown here.
