Progress at the ALMA site
Constructions progressing at the ALMA Array Operations Site, at an altitude of 5000 metres, on the Chajnantor plateau. The antenna foundations for the Atacama Compact Array (ACA) are visible in the centre-left of the image, and the Technical Building behind them. Image taken in September 2009.
