A sun-kissed VLT
The Very Large Telescope (VLT) bathes in the soft light of sunrise in this beautiful image, taken with a drone camera, and revealing the flattened peak of Cerro Paranal, Chile.
The four Unit Telescopes of ESO's flagship facility, named Antu, Kueyen, Melipal and Yepun can be seen glistening, and closed, as they shut down after another night observing the wonderful Chilean skies.
