Curious distortion of the Sun light over the Pacific Ocean
The atmospheric condition over Pacific Ocean beaches can create curious light distortion effects. This image, taken at sunset at La Silla site towards the ocean, shows the bright slice of Sun and its duplicated red slices through the foggy horizon above the sea. Compact stripe of clouds above are also scattering solar colours, brushing the sky of amazing shades of red.
