Sunset at Cerro Paranal and Cerro Armazones
One of the four VLT 1.8-metre Auxiliary Telescopes atop ESO's Paranal Observatory enjoys the view as Cerro Armazones, the future home of the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT), is bathed in the light from the setting Sun.
Cerro Armazones is located twenty kilometres from the Paranal Observatory in the Atacama Desert of northern Chile.
