New VST Public Survey data products resulting from the VST Photometric Hα Survey of the Southern Galactic Plane (VPHAS+) are now available via the dedicated Phase 3 query interface at the Science Archive Facility.
New Release of Images and Source lists for VPHAS+

This second data release of VPHAS+ covers all the data collected during the first 21 months (from December 2012 to September 2013). The total combined area coverage amounts to 24% of the survey footprint, which was observed to desired image quality. The observations in this time span favoured the Galactic equator and some well-known open clusters of interest to the Gaia-ESO Survey. Reduced images weightmaps and single-band source lists are provided for a total volume of 1.7TB.
