I-TRAIN #8: Exploring the ALMA Science Archive with ALminer

The European ARC Network invites users to an online training on using the software tool ALminer -ALMA Archive Mining & Visualization Toolkit (Ahmadi & Hacar, 2021). The session will be held on Thursday September 30th, 2021, 11:00 CEST [Zoom link].

π€π‹π¦π’π§πžπ« is a Python-based code to effectively query, analyse, and visualise the ALMA science archive. It also allows users to directly download ALMA data products and/or raw data for further image processing. This tutorial will consist of a live demo of this tool. Presentation slides will be made available in the Science Portal the day before the session. The duration of this training session will be about one hour and will include an interactive Q&A session. For questions do not hesitate to contact Allegro at alma@strw.leidenuniv.nl.

Note: The tutors' presentation will be recorded and an edited version of the recording will be posted in the Science Portal [https://almascience.eso.org/tools/eu-arc-network/i-train] after the session. The interactive Q&A will not be recorded.
