Published: 21 Mar 2024
For this CfP, the JAO anticipates having 4300 hours of approved science time on each of the 12-m, 7-m, and the Total Power arrays. Together, the 7-m Array and Total Power Array form the Atacama Compact Array (ACA), also known as the Morita Array. Observations that are particularly encouraged include:
- ACA, especially in the LST range of 20h to 10h
- High frequency (Bands 8, 9, and 10) in any configuration
- Low frequency (Bands 1, 3, and 4) at long baselines (C-7, C-8, C-9, and C-10)
The ALMA Proposer’s Guide on the Science Portal contains all pertinent information regarding this ALMA CfP. A comprehensive description of the ALMA observatory and its components can be found in the ALMA Technical Handbook. Users should submit a Helpdesk ticket if they have any questions about ALMA or the Cycle 11 Call for Proposals.
