Postdocs from the different ALMA Regional Centres are cordially invited to attend the 2016 ALMA Postdoctoral Symposium which will take place on September 24 and 25 at Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA, USA, immediately following the "Half a Decade of ALMA" meeting. The Symposium will offer attendees a unique networking opportunity to establish and develop collaborations with other postdocs working at different ARCs and JAO, looking toward the Cycle 5 Call for Proposals.
ALMA Postdoc Symposium (September 24-25, 2016)

It Symposium will feature an invited speaker on the past and future of ALMA (TBD), science talks by the postdocs, and panels discussing the various support roles postdocs have throughout the ALMA project as well as ample time for discussion.
The meeting will start at 01:00 p.m. after the conference excursions on Saturday, September 24 and run through 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25. We will have a symposium dinner the evening of the 24th.

We are charging a small registration fee ($50.00 USD) for the symposium. You may request travel support for the symposium via the "Half of a Decade of ALMA" main conference. See the main meeting website for details.
