The end of this year also marks the end of the RadioNet3 (http://www.radionet-eu.org) networking activity MARCUs (Mobility for ARC Users). MARCUs has supported approximately 40 researchers in visiting one of the European ALMA Regional Centre nodes across Europe, where they received expert face-to-face support from the local staff.
MARCUs Fundings ends in 2015

The majority of these visits concentrated on data reduction, where users were assisted in maximising the scientific output from their ALMA projects. In the most recent global ALMA users satisfaction survey this face-to-face support was rated very highly, with 100% of the users judging the help they receive as ‘above average’ or better. In addition, MARCUs provided financial support to a number of meetings and conferences related to ALMA community development and training. We hope to be able to offer MARCUs funding again in the near future. Please stay tuned.
