Tuning the YEPUN optical system
The initial tuning of the YEPUN optical system took place in the early evening of September 3, 2000, from the "observing hut" on the floor of the telescope enclosure. From left to right: Krister Wirenstrand who is responsible for the VLT Control Software, Jason Spyromilio - Head of the Commissioning Team, and Massimo Tarenghi, VLT Manager.
