Latest Comment (June 8, 04:55 UT) : Just over 30 minutes to the begin of the transit. Venus is now 3 arcmin from the solar limb. The VT-2004 Observing Campaign now has 2006 registered participants! A look at the latest weather images from Meteosat indicate good observing conditions over most of Europe! It is obvious that there are rather few sunspots at this moment, so images in white light will show Venus' black disc on a quite uniform background. More images soon to come...
