Old Panamericana road and ESO Paranal surroundings
A section of the newly renovated Old Panamericana, not far from the turn-off towards the ESO Paranal Observatory. This is the only access road to the site of the VLT. The photo also gives a good impression of the serene surroundings of the observatory.
