A sundog in tke sky

This image shows a sundog, an atmospheric phenomenon that consists of a pair of bright spots on either side on the sun, often co-occurring with a luminous ring known as a halo. Sundogs are often created by the refraction and reflection of light within ice crystals in high and cold clouds whereas the crystals act as prisms.
