Vampire star cataclysm (fulldome)

This fulldome simulation shows the evolution of cataclysmic variable stars — also known as vampire stars. These binary stars consist of a white dwarf primary star and a secondary donor star, which has its material stolen by the white dwarf's force of gravity. This simulation shows a supernova vampire star.
