VLT and VST in UHD

From this angle one can see all four Unit Telescopes of the Very Large Telescope array (VLT) — three aligned on the left and one on the right side of the frame. Each of these has a main mirror with a diameter of 8.2 meters. Behind these four predominant telescopes stands the VLT Survey Telescope (VST), the latest telescope to be installed at ESO's Paranal Observatory.
