Night time view of the ESO Very Large Telescope

This night time view shows the ESO Very Large Telescope at the Paranal Observatory in Chile. The four Unit Telescopes of the VLT appear at the left. The smaller dome in the centre is the enclosure of the VLT Survey Telescope (VST) and three of the Auxiliary Telescopes, used for interferometry, appear on the right.
