Around the World in 80 Telescopes

"Around the World in 80 Telescopes" was a unique live 24-hour webcast organised by ESO for the 100 Hours of Astronomy Project. The webcasts were broadcast live on 3 – 4 April 2009.

ESO recorded webcasts:

 

"100 Hours of Astronomy" was one of the Cornerstone Projects of the International Year of Astronomy 2009. Other than the webcasts, the rest of this IYA2009 project is no longer available for viewing. However, the global astronomy community Astronomers Without Borders, which was responsible for the coordination, continues some of the work.
