Girls' Day at ESO

A student at the ESO Girls’ Day event gets hands-on technical experience at ESO. The event introduced the work of ESO and highlighted many of our daily activities, such as astrophysical research, mechanical and opto-mechanical design and integration, operations, and much more. The programme included introductory talks as well as hands-on workshops on astronomy and engineering.
