The Paranal Visitor Centre

This building greets visitors at ESO's Paranal Observatory, some 120 km south from Antofagasta, in the II Region of Chile. Located on the left after the observatory's main gate, the visitor centre offers backlit panels, a model of the VLT and a room where introductory videos are projected. Tourist and student visits to Paranal Observatory are scheduled for every Saturday.
