ESO Movie 03: First images from the NTT

The ESO 3.5-m New Technology Telescope is the world's most advanced optical telescope. Already on the night of the First Light on March 22, 1989 it produced astronomical images of remarkable quality. This film, which was produced for the official inauguration ceremony on February 6, 1990, shows some of the results obtained during the telescopes commissioning phase.
