Panning across VISTA’s view of the Fornax Galaxy Cluster
This close-up pan across the VISTA image of the core of the Fornax Cluster of galaxies starts with the huge elliptical galaxy NGC 1399, and its cloud of faint globular clusters. We then pan across several more of the galaxies in the cluster and finally arrive at the elegant barred-spiral galaxy NGC 1365.
